You know that Summergrove Estate Wedding shoot? The one that’s on the cover of North Coast Weddings this issue? The one that that got featured twice? Yeah! That one!
There were so many photos that didn’t make the pages of the magazine (because the magazine would be as thick as a phone book otherwise) so we thought we’d publish a bunch of images you might not have seen yet.
Beyond actually making the pretty images at the beeeeeautiful Summergrove Estate in Northern NSW, I got to sweat it out over one very long and magnificent day with a bunch of the most incredible, bold, creatives just going absolutely balls to the wall in their chosen creative field. Sometimes it’s kind of awesome to step back and watch someone else balls deep in their own creative process (two balls references in one paragraph, new personal record) and admire their amazingness.
Other perks include (but are not limited to) drinking the gin cocktail props, eating leftover cake, almost being crushed under the weight of an enormous flower garland (am I going to be crushed to death under a wall of flowers? Is this the most magnificent way to die possible? Oh it smells so good under here. I think I’m okay with this) and madly clicking away as a storm looms over Callum’s beautiful horses, adorned with… yep, more flowers.
On wedding days, you very rarely get to talk shop with other vendors or see them working. There just isn’t time. That’s why days like these are so fun. Plus Summergove Estate is insanely gorgeous. So, win win win.
