Harry and Kate said their I Dos under a brilliantly bright morning sun at Noosa yesterday morning, occasionally interrupted by the crash of waves on the shore and the odd passerby snapping photos on their iPads as they meandered back to their holiday units from their morning swim. It was the quintessential Noosa flavoured wedding day, and a pretty rad way to spend a Friday morning.
Having a mid morning wedding on a Friday in Autumn on Hastings street meant things were pretty quiet in Noosa. It also meant champagne cocktails and canapes in the warmth of the sun on the beach, and a long sunlit lunch watching the longboarders just in front of the restaurant, sharing warm and funny and heartfelt speeches and memories of Kate and Harry from childhood through to their first meeting and stories of the life they have made together.
It also meant I found myself rolling around in the sand on the beach yelling ‘ERRMAGERRRD YOU GUYS THIS LOOKS SO SIIIIICK!’. It was preeeetty bright while we were shooting the bridal party portraits, but we worked quickly, and Harry and Kate’s crew were super good sports about being out in dat bright sunshine in the name of cool photos. Thanks for having us along guys, we had a blast!
