Just Married: Julia and Emily’s Wedding on the Farm near Yamba
Julia and Emily got married on an island of sugarcane just near Yamba. It was a solidly soggy ol’ Saturday, so the ceremony took place under the shelter of the Tipi set up on the family farm. The din of the downpour on the roof was easily drowned out by the applause of Julia and Emily’s loved ones as they were announced Mrs and Mrs. Shortly after, the rain stopped and the party was continued outdoors on the farm – featuring a super cute Kombi bar and a (pretty damn competitive) Ikea furniture building competition!
We wandered off through the cane fields for portraits with the gals and their crew before heading back to the most beautiful celebration, complete with some surprise musical numbers – one from from Sister Act and Julia’s Mum did an ABBA number! More costumes and performances at weddings, please, this was freakin’ amazing!
Julia and Emily’s day was so beautiful, we had a few seasons in one day but the joy from these two and their loved ones was constant from start to finish, and a total pleasure to witness. But you’re not here to read words on a page, so let’s get to dem photos!
