Yumi and Jaeden got married at Maleny Retreat the other day and it was beautiful beyond belief. Perched on the edge of the valley looking over the Glasshouse Mountains was of special significance to these two, as that’s where their wedding adventure began. After their heartfelt ceremony with just a few tears with the Mountains watching on, Yumi and Jaeden were straight back down the aisle in a shower of confetti and joyful cheering. We cruised around the property, finding beautiful vistas, trees and gorgeous light to take a few bridal party photos before heading back to the party, and the clear marquee which had come alive with fairylights, hanging pendants and lots of candles.
Their wedding was beautifully styled in neutral tones that sat perfectly in the field at Maleny Retreat to compliment the incredible view. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from nods to Yumi’s Japanese heritage to the family-style share plate dinner, to make sure their families and friends felt so loved and cared for and set the tone for a massive celebration as these two finally made it official.
Luckily, we got to take photos! Here’s a sneak preview of their day:
