Just Married: Alex and Joel’s Summergrove Estate Wedding
Alex and Joel said hellz yeah to marriage at Summergrove Estate and it was a wild and excellent time. We are kind of notorious for our immense and undying love of biiiiig, wiiiiild wedding parties and Alex and Joel’s ticked all the boxes. Right from the audible gasps and high energy as Alex entered the chapel and Alex’s Dad high fived excited guests as they walked in, we knew we were with a most excellent group of humans and that their day was going to be turned all the way up to 11 right until the end. We split their portrait shoot into two sections to make the best use of the light and to get a few speeches and entrees (and a few drinks) done in the meantime. With most people travelling up for the wedding, their whole crew was on holidays and pretty happy to let their freak flags fly for our cameras.
There was the most beautiful light, amazing food, cocktails flying everywhere, a gelato cart and some pretty wild dancing. We left a little bit sweaty, ears ringing, slightly sticky from a few cocktail splashes, and there’s no other way we’d have it. Thank you for inviting us into your amazing families you two, and for teaching us the traditional dances of your clans (Go West, Brown Eyed Girl and Macho Man).
