Zoe and Mumtaz are world adventurers who did this wedding thing their way: with a wedding in two timezones! They said their vows in a cute church on the hill near the ocean in Queensland and partied the night away with their loves at Fins at Plantation House in NSW. And!!! You guys!!! We are pleased to report that nobody got the times mixed up, even though daylight savings was in full swing in NSW.
Nobody will ever forget how totally, wildly joyous it was to shimmy back down the aisle of the church with maracas in hands (everyone was wondering why they were getting handed musical instruments at the end of the ceremony – such a cool idea if you can’t have confetti right?!) as the choir sang the most beautiful rendition of Love is in the Air. Zoe and Mumtaz and all of their loved ones spilled out onto the church steps, laughing and singing and shaking their maracas in the bright sunshine – THE BEST!!
We ducked down to the beach for a few beach-y shots before heading to our forever fave Fins at Plantation House where everyone was having sunset Aperol Spritzes on the lawn. We took a few photos of the wedding crew in that amazing cactus garden but the priority was for Zoe and Mumtaz to spend as much time with their people as possible – everyone had travelled so far to celebrate with them. We were so very on board with our brief for chilled, natural photos, lots of candids of everyone enjoying the day and covering the wild party that followed. Let’s take a closer look, hey?!
