Bella and Ian got married at Clovelly Estate in Montville on the Sunshine Coast in that magical part of the year (technically, it’s called Winter, but this is Queensland we’re talking about) where the seasons change and the trees go all shades of orange and yellow as the leaves fall. Although the days are shorter, the light is magnificent and the nights are crisp and cool. It looks feels like we were somewhere in Europe!
Clovelly Estate is super awesome because so many guests can stay on-site, and everyone could get ready in the one place without spoiling the big reveal down the aisle of Bella in her incredible George Wu gown. Because we had less daylight to work with being in winter, we were able to find lots of beautiful portrait locations around Clovelly and get everyone back to the main priority – the party!
We got to work with an all-star cast of wedding vendors on this beeeeautiful wedding, including some of the most incredible flowers we’ve had the pleasure of shooting care of Willow Bud, a super sweet and heartfelt ceremony care of Fiona from Coastal Weddings, and guests (Bella’s Mum started it!) up and dancing before dinner was even finished thanks to the Vibe Creators bustin’ out some old school jams!
