Mary and James’ Fins at Plantation House Wedding
Mary and James got married at Fins at Plantation House under bushfire skies late last year. Their wedding day was what we have come to know and love as quintessentially Fins – a long leisurely afternoon under golden summer skies with good food and drinks, good music, and all of their favourites. Their styling was classically romantic, with beautiful personalised touches including all the stationery being hand illustrated by Mary’s incredibly talented mama, and floral styling that perfectly matched Mary’s incredible gown.
You guys know we love a dance floor because it’s so many generations of your family and friends dancing together on the same square of dance floor for one night only. Even better when the band is SO high energy and fun! It gets better though – to see Mary’s grandma up and grooving was the awesomest thing. The longer she was up and dancing, the more excited she got, and we are so glad we were able to document this memory.
We felt so fortunate to be the lucky ones to document this day from excited getting ready nerves in the morning, through to happy tears in the ceremony, all the wya to tequila shots on the dance floor. What a day! There’s an assortment of snapshots scattered below, and then the film we made them, and all the links to the dream team we worked with at the bottom. Let’s goooooo!
