Tegwen and Matt got married one drizzly day in Brisbane in what was one of the biggest weddings the Calile has ever hosted. For those who have not yet experienced the magnificence that is this Fortitude Valley hotel, think arches, shades of pink and light neutral tones, gold, terazzo, incredible food, wine, and very very good times – all of which proved to be the most perfect stage for this incredible day.
A little moment if you will for the stunning couture confection Teg wore from Galia Lahav, with those blush tones setting the scene for the rest of the wedding’s styling with the incorporation of neons and disco balls at the reception to truly set the scene for this massive party in every sense of the word!
We started off with prep – the girls at the Calile and the boys at the Ovolo nearby, before heading to the ceremony at St. John’s Cathedral in Brisbane city. We managed to dodge the wet weather and get all the family shots done at the church before heading back to the Calile for portraits around beautiful James Street in the Valley. We chased the sunset up to the rooftop of the Calile for photos against the dramatic skies and champagne for the wedding party before heading back down to cocktails and the most amazing par-tayyy!
Full credits for their dream team and their film is at the bottom of this photo-fest. Let’s get scrolling!
