Emma’s the organised one with an eye for incredible candid moments and artful portraits that don’t make you feel awkward.

Emma is the Cloud Catcher responsible for pre-wedding planning with all of our couples. She’s also one of our lead photographers. In the studio she is the quietly organised brain behind the scenes, chatting with couples, building run sheets, checking timings and talking with venues and vendors so the day itself feels stress free and flows beautifully.

On a wedding day, Emma brings this calm, joyful energy that settles even the most camera shy humans. She has a knack for noticing the little things. The mate who laughs the loudest, the tight squeeze of hands just before the aisle, the relative in the back row quietly wiping away a tear. She moves gently around the room, giving simple, clear direction when it is needed then stepping back so the real moments can unfold.

After hundreds of weddings across SE QLD and Northern NSW, Emma reads a room and finds good light in about three seconds flat. Her couples end up with images that feel like them and a day that never once felt like a photoshoot. Big heart, sharp eye, spreadsheets for days.
